Beautiful, Playful, Quirky
Hominy could literally be a cat model! She has beautiful green eyes and huge stand-uppy ears. Is there anything cuter than stand-uppy ears??
Hominy has a lovely way about her, too: the way she weaves around your legs to give you affection, the way she nose boops you...she might just be a serial nose-booper! She prefers to show her love by following you around and staying near you, rather than being held and cuddled. She will, however, accept some nice scratching!
And just when you thought she couldn't GET any cuter...you walk down the hall, turn the corner, and there she is, sitting inside the laundry basket you left on the floor! Funny girl!
Hominy likes to take a while to become comfortable with new people and a new environment, so just give her a little time. While she's getting used to everything, she will probably need some dark and cozy places where she can hunker down and feel safe. Once she feels a sense of familiarity, she becomes friendly, curious, adventurous, and playful!
She is high-energy and often in the mood to run around and play. Her favorite game is for you to toss a toy so that she can chase after it! Her guilty pleasure is a hair tie, so if you're missing one, you can bet Hominy has made off with it. She is a bit of a Hair Tie Bandit, to be honest!
Tip: Sometimes when she plays, she makes a "mrrrrp" sound. So follow the "mrrrrp" if you're looking for your hair tie!
Hominy is gentle and easy-going. She is well-behaved and very good about using the litter box, though does occasionally try to scratch furniture when she's in the grip of a playful frenzy! Just make sure she has a scratching post or two.
Hominy has captured the heart of people who don't define themselves as "cat people" - she's that endearing! Her ideal home would be with patient humans who use hair ties and will toss toys for her! And who will love a tender girl as she blooms and blossoms. She is super lovable and adorable! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet.
