Sometimes an animal comes along that you really wish could talk so you could hear their story and Micheala is one of them! She and her brother, Jackson, were evacuated from the shelter in Beaumont in preparation for Hurricane Laura. That is about all we know other than an estimated birth date.

Micheala is currently in a foster home where she has really relaxed and learned that the human brings the food and water, give treats and toys and provides a safe, warm place inside. She has progressed from staying completely under the bed to jumping on her foster mom for pets and sleeping with her at night. It has been an amazing transformation!! She has super soft fur and a HUGE purr and even has finally found her little meow.

She loves to play and chasing a wand toy is her favorite. She also goes nuts for felt toys she can carry around or toss in the air to catch. And running around and wrestling with her brother is a must every day. Amazing how much noise two small kittens can make when running around upstairs. They sound like a heard of buffalo!

Micheala and her brother Jackson are really connected. They do everything together - eat, sleep, play - and are never far apart. It seems certain that they would really love to find a home where they can stay together for life. Jackson is a fun little guy - check him out here: https://bit.ly/33lH0CL

They live in a home with three resident cats who are not always the best hosts and have no fear whatsoever. They may give them a hiss or even a little swat with a paw and they are totally unafraid and just move right along. Hard to believe these guys were so scared when they arrived that they would not come out from under the bed!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
