Inquisitive, Engaging, Good-Humored

Boerne is a beautiful accent to a home! His beautiful fluffy coat and tufted paws will have you yearning to pick him up. He seems to love everyone, and is not afraid to let you know what he wants. He has a melodious meow.He embraces your affection as long as he desires, then if not, he walks away.

He is inquisitive and loves to play and roughhouse a lot, especially with other cats. And even though the resident cat in his foster home won't play with him, Boerne keeps trying!

Boerne is a large cat. Based on his size, behavior and coloring, he is probably a ragdoll mix. He is adorable when he sleeps with his tongue out, and is lovely to watch when he stretches after a nap.

Boerne was living outside at the time of his rescue. Prior, he must have been someone's cat because he was already neutered when he arrived at APA! His experience with dogs and kids is unknown, but because of his level of play and good-humor he probably would do well with kids. He doesn't scratch or bite when held, carried, or wants to be put down. Boerne is still learning what is appropriate to scratch on or not. With scratching posts and consistent, gentle re-direction, he will learn. Just be patient, give him time and be willing to work with him.

Boerne would do well in a family with kids and/or other playful pets. He likes a lot of attention and will need interactions throughout a day.

All APA! cats are, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime fully vetted support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
