Quiet, Adventurous, Sweet

We assure you that Whistle Pig is a sweet kitten and not a groundhog like her name implies! She can be shy at first, but when she knows she can trust you she'll purr for pets. Especially when she wakes up after a long nap. Whistle pig has both a curious side and a playful side. Just give her a mouse toy and see what happens!

Whistle Pig is a black kitty until certain lighting makes her fur look beautifully auburn brown. Her sister, Least Weasel, is her favorite cuddle buddy and playmate-check her out at https://bit.ly/2JVognI. Whistle Pig would be so happy if she and her sister could be part of your family!

Whistle Pig has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Whistle Pig can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
