Cool, Calm, Collected

Jesus the Chihuahua is just as interesting as you'd think with a name like that! This kitty boy is a poster child for keep Austin weird. He has a heart of gold but a face only a mother (or a cat lover!) could love. His ears are two different sizes. His eyes are also two different sizes. He has freckles all over his pink nose, lips and paws. This orange fella is also missing just a bit of one ear! You may be thinking he's a tough guy, but that's just not his way.

Because he's a master snuggler! Loves naps on laps! Will purr for chin scratches! Kneads his feet and squints his eyes when he's pleased! Likes likes belly rubs!

He gets along great with the kids in the house and sleeps on their bed. He'll get carried around by kids and nothing bothers him. He's here for it! He has a heart of gold and even does well with the resident dog of the house!

Jesus is such a great cat. Seems wise beyond his years and is super cool!

Jesus has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Jesus can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
