Friendly, cuddly, chatty

Tigger loves petting and lap time, but he isn't demanding about it. Same with vocalizing - he'll talk if you talk to him, and he'll also greet you when you come home and get up in the morning. Otherwise, he's pretty quiet. Unless, that is, you start petting him with grooming gloves. Then he'll rev up his purr-motor to full blast!

Tigger hasn't shown any interest in toys. He'd much rather gaze out the window and follow his fosters around to see what they're doing.

He does have an interesting quirk. He absolutely loves having some secret dark hidey-holes! When he first came to his foster home, he discovered a secret hole and hidey-place in their bathroom vanity that no other cat in 20 years had ever found. Their fosters had to pry off the kickboard to get him out. Now that he knows them better, he's spending more and more time out and about with them. But when they leave, he generally does prefer to hide in a small, dark spot.

Tigger hasn't yet been around small children, though his propensity for hiding makes us think that he would be spooked by noise and commotion. His fosters do think that he would be happiest in a quieter, calm adult household where his people are around much of the time.

If you're looking for a calm, loving companion, contact us today to arrange a meet-and-greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
