Spirited, Quizzical, Frisky

Flick Huck is goofy, bouncy, very whimsical and inquisitive. He loves to explore every corner of a room; he runs and hides in different places; he is not afraid to jump high or low. He could play all day with his human adult or child.

His imagination turns any object into a toy. He enjoys a good box or two to explore and jump about. He chases and leaps at a laser light, and follows any ball that catches his big green eyes.

Flick Huck follows his human everywhere possible. That includes into a soft, comfortable bed; he lies right by your side or feet. He is usually quiet except for the sound of his feet and play objects. Since he is still a young cat sometimes his playful ways may seen a little rough. With patience and friendly play he will learn to tone down his excitement.

Flick Huck has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Flick Huck can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

Flick Huck needs a forever home where he is either the only cat or with other FeLV+ cats. He does have experience around children, but it is unknown about a dog. It is possible that slow exposure to a dog could result in good relationship. He will require plenty of space to run, explore and develop into a gorgeous, brown/black tabby cat.

All APA! cats are, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime fully vetted support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
