Snuggly, playful, energetic

Joaquin is still a young dude with plenty of playful energy. He especially loves chasing wand toys and wrestling with his brother. He's cool with being left alone while you work, yet equally happy to run to you for snuggles when you call him. He's very much a lap kitty, and also likes to sleep by your legs at night.

When he meows A LOT, it means that he wants a drink of water fresh from the tap! It's just an obsession he has, so he respectfully requests a forever family that will indulge him in this. He would also love to have a kitty buddy (maybe his brother - they are very attached to each other), lots of toys, and a family who will be happy with play with and snuggle him. That's not asking too much, right?

Joaquin has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Joaquin can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
