Chatty, Cuddly, Sweet

You might be grumpy too if your family moved away and left you behind! Thanks to some kind neighbors who took him in, Grumpy Bobby was loved, cared for, and eventually found himself safe at APA! And despite his name, Grumpy Bobby is anything BUT. He absolutely loves affection, and will sit in front of you and meow to ask for (demand) pets - the whole time going purr-purr-purr!

Grumpy Bobby has lived his life around kids, other cats, and a dog. Then, after he was left behind, he interacted well with the neighbor kids and a dog that belonged to one of the kind neighbors caring for him. He is a friendly boy!

Grumpy Bobby seems to prefer lounging around to playing. On the other hand, when he gets to playing with you and doesn't want to stop, he may grab you to let you know he's ready for the game to continue!

Grumpy Bobby has been through a lot and has kept his sweet nature throughout, charming everyone he meets. He is ready to put his past behind him and get on with meeting his beloved humans and moving into his new home - contact us today to meet this handsome guy!

Grumpy Bobby has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Grumpy Bobby can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
