Calm, friendly, affectionate!

Gage is a pretty chill dude who is so sweet we really don't know what to do with him! He is moderately active, but will go crazy for his brush and for pets! He loves, loves, loves both pets and brushing and will sit on your lap and purr and make biscuits for hours! He is pretty quiet and will meow during feeding times, but that's about it. He's a very well-behaved boy! Gage has few to no teeth so he prefers wet food, but he's not picky as far as the type of wet food! He's just happy to get the yummies!

He was likely a street cat for several years and is an old scrapper. Gage is now at retirement age and just wants cuddles and love! He's got the biggest cheeks ever! He's cuddly, chill, and loves his brush. We are not exaggerating, he will literally stand on his back two legs to get closer to the brush! We joke that it's his "emotional support brush". He's a little nervous when meeting new people, but if you brush him you automatically become his new best friend! He is also a licker and will show his appreciation with sweet kisses! He does well with older kids and teens, but hasn't met any young kids, other cats, or dogs yet.

Any home that can brush him and love on him will be the perfect one for Gage! He may be a little on the older side, but Gage still has a lot of love to give!

Gage is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: http://bit.ly/2DPxI43
