Playful. Loving. Sassy.

Kerrygold Coin is a rich man. He's got gold in his name and he's got a heart of gold.

Kerrygold Coin is an easy-to-please guy who is all about the simple things in life: playing, cuddling, and giving you some sass.

Like all things in life, it's all about finding balance. Kerrygold has found a good balance for playtime. He's no slouch but he also isn't trying to set any records for most time played. When playing Kerrygold is pretty easy to please. He doesn't need fancy toys to stay entertained just a bottlecap, hair tie, and laser pointer and he's good to go!

After playtime, it's either time to cuddle or it's time for a snack. If it's cuddle time Kerrygold will curl up on your lap and let you know that it's time to settle down. If it's time for a snack you'll know. Kerrygold is typically a pretty silent guy except for when he's feeling sassy and feels the need to tell you that he wants food. Try telling him 'no' and listen to the backtalk he gives you!

Kerrygold Coin's ideal home would be one where he can get a lot of love and treats. Beyond that everything else is the cherry on top. We don't know how Kerrygold Coin does with other kitties, dogs, or kids. We think he could do well with other kids who aren't necessarily looking for a playmate but instead can help provide a little extra cuddle time. We always recommend doing a slow introduction to all family members, both fur and human, to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable in their environment.

Kerrygold Coin has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Kerrygold Coin can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
