Beautiful, Shy, Chatty
Say hello to Plugra Posh. Her name literally means a 'high-class' cat with more 'butter fat'! That is absolutely hilarious! Well frankly, Plugra Posh does not have any 'butter fat'. It is just a silly name. She does display 'high-class' taste with her Lynx colored coat which resembles her close cousins. Then she threw on some salt and pepper sprinkles to enhance the pattern. What a clever idea. She is a beauty.
She came to APA! as an adult. Her prior life had some rough times. We don't know details, but we do know she is unique and wants to settle into a forever home. She dreams of a Zen home. She may even try Yoga to improve her relaxation techniques.
First Plugra Posh needs to find per perfect human and home. New environments can be a little stressful. So her approach is to go slow and cautiously. No need to rush into anything. There is plenty of time to hang back and check out the surroundings. Find that special place where she feels safe.
It will take her time and her human needs to be patient for her to get the hang of her new forever home. At first, she may hide, only to come out to eat and to let you know she is still around. It doesn't mean she plans to live like this forever. She just waits for the right, comfortable times to make her appearances. Since arrival to her human's foster home, she has already shown in one month that she becomes quite talkative.
It is unknown if she has lived with other cats or has experience with dogs or kids.
Plugra Posh would do well in a quiet home as a single cat without a dog or children. Her forever human will need to be very patient and give her plenty of time to warm up.
Her beauty and talkative traits are great attributes. Contact us today to meet this special gal.
Plugra Posh is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ:

Plugra Posh has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Plugra Posh can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
All APA! cats are, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime fully vetted support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
