Charming. Affectionate. Sweetheart.
Guess who's coming to dinner? Your favorite uncle...Uncle Albert! And, you know what that means...lots of feline fun! You may just find him hanging out on top of the kitchen cabinets, one of his preferred places to take in the view. He will likely decide to check out the place when he gets there. It's not that he's nosy, he just likes to explore. You'll definitely want to have a laser pointer and wand toy on hand, as those are Uncle Albert's favorite pre-meal playthings. Cardboard cat scratchers are his favorite, so be sure to pull those out as well.
Uncle Albert is quite the extrovert - especially when it comes to humans. He definitely enjoys a good cuddle...as long as it's on his own terms. When he's snuggled up next to you, you'll have no doubt that he's a full-blown sweetheart!
Uncle Albert is a very large fella, as big as the small dog in his foster home! By the way, he walked right up to that same pup to introduce himself as soon as he arrived and said hello to the kitty there too. He's absolutely fearless! Not surprisingly, they warmed right up to him. No one can resist his purry charms! See for yourself on Instagram! @fosterfriendsfurever
Once the meal is over, Uncle Albert would sure love to just move on in. He's such a delight, you'll be so glad that he came to dinner and stayed...forever! Contact us for an introduction!
Uncle Albert is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: http://bit.ly/2DPxI43
Uncle Albert has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
Uncle Albert has stomatitis which is an inflammation of the mouth; he recently had surgery to remove a few of his teeth. He currently requires some extra medical care which may include medications and specialized diet. For more information, please contact APA!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
