Are you here because you followed the bright line pointing to Brighton Line? We are pretty sure she drew it herself. How else would you explain that orange, white tip on her pretty, otherwise dark, tail? She's a subtle lady, but oh so clever! Never one to demand your attention. But, so glad when you give it to her!

Brighton is happy and calm, and has the cutest ear points! She is sometimes curious, but mostly lays low and keeps to herself. She loves her scratching toys, but overall doesn't play all that much. She adores being petted and will casually come up to you for some loving. But, she isn't pushy about it. You're not likely to find Brighton snuggling up with you. She prefers to express her love from a polite distance. You'll have no doubt that this sweet girl thinks you're wonderful as you each enjoy your personal space.

Some may describe Brighton as a bit of an oddball. It could be because she prefers sleeping on hard surfaces like her scratching board or the counter. And then there's her water preferences, she'll only drink water from a dish that's placed on the counter next to the sink. We think of it as endearingly eccentric and a commendable conscientiousness of her water source.

Brighton is a low-level meower. She'll only speak up if her food or water level is too low for her liking. She uses her scratching posts diligently and would enjoy a forever home that includes a nice supply of scratching post and board options.

Brighton would do well in a quiet household with a cozy corner (and counter!) where she can curl up and nap. She won't insist on affection, but would certainly enjoy a human or two who will give her gentle chin scratches and love on a regular basis.
