Brush-loving, Cautious, Talkative

Middle School Simba is a beguiling feline who is looking for his furever home. This ring-tailed love enjoys being brushed, and once he is comfortable with you, he will let you pet his head, chin, and cheeks. He also recently became comfortable with belly rubs! This beautiful boy just might be a dog trapped in a cat's body.
Simba enjoys laying on soft blankets in front of the couch, especially when the tv is on and his humans are there too. Recently he decided to lay on the couch instead of in front of it. Looks like we could just have a snuggler in the making! He has no teeth, but that doesn't hold him back from eating dry food, which he demands when he is hungry! He also loves his cardboard scratch pad which he uses frequently. Such a good kitty!

Simba enjoys playing on his own, especially with his toy mouse! He has blossomed in his foster home and would do best in a quiet home with adults and young adults. He is chill around other cats. So a friendly kitty buddy would likely be fine.

Simba might ask you to buy him dinner before he gets comfortable, but that's understandable. He's a shy and independent lover who just needs a bit of time to warm up. He will talk when he wants either food or your attention! Follow this beautiful boy on Twitter @FosterCatMom1.

Middle School Simba has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Middle School Simba can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
