Friendly, curious, cuddly!

Spicy Friend is more sweet than spicy! He is super chill and mostly wants to cuddle, but a few times a day he can be found playing with cords or ribbons; he's a string man himself. He loves to cuddle and get his head scratched/rubbed and he is quick to fall asleep in your lap! Spicy Friend lets you know when he wants attention, but isn't super chatty when doing it.

Spicy Friend hasn't met any other cats or kids, but he is in a house with 2 large dogs. Although they have not been able to fully meet yet, he has not hissed at them when he's seen them.

Spicy Friend is pretty laid back. Once he gets comfortable, he'd do great in almost any home, especially one with people who will spend the time petting him!

Spicy Friend has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Spicy Friend can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
