Teddy Bear, Calm, Sweet

Meet Boot Scoot Boogie! This tabby boy has a beautiful gray, black, and tan fur coat and the most endearing expressions.

Boot Scoot Boogie is a very chill, easy, going, and calm cat. His activity level tends to be pretty low -- naps are definitely his favorite game, and he loves nothing more than to lay curled up next to you for a Netflix marathon! He's super quiet and well-behaved -- the perfect work from home companion.

Boot Scoot Boogie may be mellow, but he is still extremely loving. When he's not sleeping, he would truly be content to get belly rubs all day long without end. He's like a cuddly, living teddy bear and is probably the most chilled out cat you will ever meet. He's so relaxed and go-with-the-flow that he could fit in most places and still find inner peace.

Boot Scoot Boogie hasn't yet had much interaction with kids, but he does tolerate dogs (he doesn't seem too interested but definitely isn't aggressive in any way) and is so chill that we assume he would be fine. However, he won't be able to live with other cats UNLESS they too are FeLV+, and he must remain an indoor-only cat (see next paragraph). As long as he remains indoors, he loves having windows to look out of and most importantly, plenty of cozy spaces to nap :) This guy is truly so special and can't wait to become your forever companion!

Boot Scoot Boogie has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Boot Scoot Boogie can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Boot Scoot Boogie, please email [email protected].
