Sweet, Shy, Handsome

Blu is one exotic Russian Blue mix cat. This tall drink of water is a kitten trapped in an athlete's body.

Blu is the perfect gentleman with striking features and will charm you with his gentle giant personality. He enjoys spending time with his human companions and welcomes pat-pats all day long. He keeps his distance until he knows he can trust you, which only takes a day or two. Once acclimated to his new home, he will reward you with leg rubs, gentle nudges and plenty of cuddle time. When you call to him, he responds with the meow of a kitten that will melt your heart.

Blu spends most days lounging, asking for neck rubs and kneading on plush blankets. He loves being petted and will curl up next to you for a quick cat nap. He is definitely a lover, not a fighter.

Blu would do well with someone who is patient, gentle, and appreciates a cat who is a little 'kneady.' You must own soft blankets and pillows for Blu.

Blu has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Blu can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
