Blue Ivy is a gorgeous tabby looking for a calm, quiet home where she can blossom! She is very fearful of people at first and needs a patient, understanding person who does not use a timetable when it comes to love. Let Blue Ivy set the pace and she will absolutely get there when she is ready. The reward of gaining her trust and the realization that your kind nurturing is why she can finally feel secure, safe and happy is worth the wait!

Blue Ivy may initially hide in unfamiliar surroundings. But, over time she gets emboldened and will start hanging out in the same room as her family. The next indication that she's decided you may just be on her side is when you see her walking around with her tail confidently up and chatting away. This girl loves a good conversation!

Blue Ivy enjoys playing with toys. She may go it alone at first. But, when she gets used to you she'll chase them around and have fun right in front of you!

Blue Ivy mostly hides around kiddos. So, a home with older, calm kids or adults only is best. She sometimes hides around other cats. But, when she feels comfortable, she will lovingly rub up against them to make friends. She would really enjoy a forever home that includes a kitty buddy. She is neutral with dogs and likes to watch them.

Blue Ivy is not going to curl up with you right away, maybe never, and when she first arrives she will likely spend most of her time hiding. But, if you're willing to take a chance on her, in time she will do the same for you by sharing her heart. If you're a cat-savvy, kind person who is interested in transforming a scaredy cat into a self-assured, happy one - Blue Ivy is your girl...or she can be! Contact us to meet her!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
