Easy-going. Super soft. Purr Machine.

Whizzer likes to be on top of things. Literally. On top of cat trees, or window sills, or any place where he can keep a watchful eye on his surroundings. Whizzer feels most secure when he's up high.

Whizzer's an easy-going tabby with the cutest, softest cheeks and a cream belly. He adores pets and scritches. He won't seek them out, but once you start petting him, he'll purr and purr and he will let you pet him until you get tired out. Whizzer purrs the entire time you pet him, when you're about to feed him, and when you talk to him. This fella will always let you know how much your love and affection means to him.

Whizzer has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Whizzer can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

Whizzer has stomatitis which is an inflammation of the mouth. It is typically resolved through removal of teeth and supportive care. He currently requires some extra medical care which may include medications and specialized diet. For more information, please contact APA!

Whizzer has excellent manners. He prefers to snooze and lounge in his chosen space. He won't wake you when you sleep, is very quiet, and easily takes his medicine in his food. He's met other dogs and cats from afar and he thinks they're okay as long as they are calm and will give him his space. We think Whizzer might prefer to be the only kitty so he can soak up all your love and attention.

If you'd like a laidback friend to hang out with, come meet Whizzer.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
