Sunshiny, Sweet, Spectacular

Everyone has heard the saying, "The best gifts come in small packages." Well, Zunkist is a small kitten package and is very special! This cuddly boy is one of a kind. He is so special that his happy disposition and determination will grab you by the heart. Every day will be a new surprise. Check out the photos and video of him!

When you hold Zunkist he will rub his head against you and turn on his loud purr machine. Be sure to have a long feather so you can tickle his belly. He gets a kick out of this activity!

Zunkist was born with a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which gave him neurological issues. He walks with a wobble, but this makes him all that much cuter and special. He plays with toys and runs around with exuberance! And if he falls over in the middle of it, he will get right back up and keep going.

Zunkist is hearing impaired and likely completely deaf. Deaf cats can live normal, healthy lives! This just means that you and he will develop your own way of communicating. How wonderful is that? And he might look like he is winking at you, and maybe he is, but that's also how one of his eyelids work. Who wouldn't swoon when getting a wink from this lovable, charming kitten?

Zunkist does well with both cats and dogs but has not met kids yet. He does best with calm animals because of his wobbly walk; he can't keep up with a super-crazy-playful cat (but you can bet he will try). He doesn't let any of this get him down though!

This uber friendly and sweet boy just needs a little extra attention and care, and he will be happy and thrive! We love him so much. Contact us today to meet this fun and cute dude!

Feline cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition that causes balance issues. CH cats were born like this and usually wobble or have a funny gait; some cats have a minor imbalance and some are very wobbly! Cats with minor to moderate CH require no special care, or only minor accommodation, like avoiding stairs. Cats adopted from APA! with CH must be kept indoors only. CH cats have the same lifespan as other cats. For more information, please visit: lifewithchcats.com.

All APA! cats are, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime fully vetted support offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
