Social, Cuddly, Gentle

Blueberry Bae is a sweet little buddy who loves to cuddle and hang out by your side. He's one of those cats that genuinely loves his person and waits by the door for you to come home from work!

Blueberry will follow you anytime you leave them room, quietly stay by your side, and check out what you're doing. He loves being a little adventure companion. As soon as you settle in one place, he does too, usually stretching out for a catnap on the floor with lots of purring and happy paws. He never bites or scratches. While he doesn't love to be picked up, this gentle kitty still keeps his claws in and tolerates it in exchange for cuddles.

Blueberry likes to sleep and get petted more than anything else! He doesn't mind when someone bothers his nap time to cuddle and give him check scratches. He also likes to play with feather toys and hop around on the furniture, but he's a little too old for crazy playtime and generally much more interested in sleeping on your bed or sprawled over your lap. He also likes to sit by the window and enjoy the view.

Blueberry is diagnosed with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), but he's a happy little guy who doesn't let it slow him down at all. He would love a home that is as stress-free as possible; he can only live with other FeLV cats, plus he will likely have a shorter lifespan.

If you are looking for an affectionate sweetie who looks at you like you're his entire world, then Blueberry Bae is the cat for you! He would do great in a peaceful home where he can rub on your legs all day. He loves attention, but doesn't need a lot of it and is fine to be left alone for the day. He'll always be so happy to see you when you get home! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet.

Blueberry Bae has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Blueberry Bae can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
