Calm, curious, affectionate

Catlin was pretty nervous when she first came to us, and then we quickly realized that she's nearly blind, so no wonder! We started talking gently to her to let her know we were near, kept her enclosure surroundings consistent, and showed her where everything was. Within just a few short days her sweet, loving side emerged!

Catlin loves it when you pet and talk with her. She'll do her best to follow you around, because she likes being near you. She's less enthusiastic about sharing space with other cats, but is OK with them if they keep their distance.

Catlin will play with string toys if you touch them to her face to let her know they're there. She does react to light, so she could probably see and chase a flashlight or laser light on the wall or floor.

Catlin is pretty quiet, though will occasionally ask politely for food or pets. She can be a bit finicky about eating, but as long as you provide her favorite brand and flavor, she's happy.

Catlin is a healthy FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) cat. FIV+ cats typically live long, healthy lives! For more information, please contact APA! or read this FAQ: http://bit.ly/2DPxI43

Catlin would thrive in a household that is relaxed and consistent so she could get her bearings and be comfortable navigating her space. She enjoys being with her people and would love to be a part of your daily life! We've sent many blind kitties to their forever homes, and their people report that these kitties live happy, active, wonderful lives as long as their surroundings remain consistent. Blind cats are amazing! They learn to navigate their environment with their hearing and memory. Contact us today to meet sweet and amazing Catlin!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
