Loving, Social, Mellow

Gypsy is a friendly, gentle girl who is ready to put her wandering days behind her! She was rescued from another shelter where she was on the verge of being euthanized due to overcrowding. Such a loving soul was definitely meant to live a long, happy life in a forever home and now she can!

Gypsy loves being petted and being in the same room as her people. She will come up for occasional snuggles, but does get a little squirmy when you try to hold her. This is most likely due to spending her first year of life, which is pretty much her entire life, in a shelter with little human contact. But, she is sweetness through and through and gets more comfortable getting all cuddly by the day.

One silver lining of shelter life for Gypsy was finding the love of her life, Dixie. These two are inseparable! They do everything together - eat, sleep, chill out and take baths, including bathing each other several times a day! Gypsy takes such loving care of Dixie, it is absolutely precious to watch. Their connection is so strong and passionate, we would love to see them go to the same forever home and stay together for life.

Gypsy is low to moderately playful. We have not seen her with kids. But, she's such a passive, caring kitty that she would probably be fine with children. Gypsy has not spent time with dogs, though she and Dixie are huge fans of their Snoop Dogg pillow!

Gypsy isn't particularly vocal. But, when she does meow, it is the cutest chirpy one! She also chirps when she purrs. Her coat is shiny and sleek, and you will never get tired of admiring the darling dash of white that goes down her pretty black face!

Gypsy is such a well-behaved, lovely little gem of a kitty. Her super power is most definitely her ability to spread love where ever she goes. She would do well in most any household where she can share her sweet heart with kind humans and that includes her very best friend, Dixie.

If you are interested in giving a home to two young, affectionate cats who are ready to love you, look no further! Contact us to meet Gypsy and Dixie!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
