Beautiful. Timid. Purr-fect.

Now that retired mama Ginger has watched her kittens go to their forever homes, she's ready for a place of her own!

Ginger is a Siamese mix with shades of brown and white and beautiful blue eyes. She's a little shy right now, but can you blame her? She came to APA! from a shelter in Laredo and is still getting her bearings. She's timid to engage at first, but once you give her some good chin scratches, she's quick to settle in on your lap and purr.

So far Ginger's more interested in watching toys than playing with them, but she loves to explore her foster's home... as long as her foster isn't looking. She can get startled and frightened by loud noises and quick movements, but even when frightened, Ginger's never aggressive. She's a very easy and low-maintenance kitty.

Given some time and trust, we think Ginger will blossom into a sweet and loving companion for some lucky family. Maybe yours?
