Sweet, Playful, Independent

Sirloin is a kitten-sized, medium-haired lady who appears to be a torbie: a unique mix of the black and orange coloring of a tortoiseshell with the stripes of a tabby! She also bears a resemblance to a red fox from the back due to the dark coloring of her fluffy tail and the backs of her legs. Also, check out her multi-colored whiskers which change from black to white as they grow!

Sirloin has acquired many nicknames, including Baby Grill and Miss Steak, but she is primarily known as Siri. Siri came to APA! all the way from Laredo, trading the stressful shelter environment for the comfort of a foster home. She needed a little time to adjust to her new surroundings, but now that she has settled in, she is gaining confidence and embracing affection and playtime!

This tiny girl has an equally tiny meow that she uses to let you know when she wants your attention, and she will rub against your legs or bump her head against your hand to get you to pet her. Also, she has figured out that she likes being held; scratch her head and neck, and she'll let you cradle her like a baby while she purrs. A talented biscuit-maker, Siri loves to be surrounded by squishy surfaces so that she can show you her baking skills. She also enjoys chasing balls and tackling feather wands!

Siri appreciates the company of others, but she is also fine with being by herself for some time. Make no mistake - despite her kitten-like appearance, Siri has the maturity of an adult cat and knows how to relax and respect her surroundings.

Siri has shown a lot of interest in other cats! She sticks her paws under the door to catch the attention of her foster parent's resident cat and plays a game of trying to catch each other's paws with him. She seems open to living with other cats who are friendly, calm, and play gently. She may also do well with children who understand that they need to earn her trust and respect her boundaries while she gets comfortable.

It doesn't get much better than Sirloin! She's top of the line. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
