Chatty, Snuggly, Prim

Cheddar is needy - in the best way! She needs to headbutt you and purr loudly. She needs to lay in your lap and make biscuits. She needs to cuddle you and give you affection. She needs to be held with her tummy against your chest and her paws over your shoulder, hugging you. And you are going to need Cheddar to do all of that, because being loved by this sweet girl is the best! She's a special little lady who has so much love to give.

And Cheddar has an entire orchestra section of sounds that she makes! She purrs, she chatters, she makes tiny breathy meows, she trills. And her trills are SOOOO cute! She will headbutt you and make biscuits while she sings her little trilly song. She'll also sing when she is hungry or is looking for some affection.

Cheddar has a cow-print coat and sophisticated yellow-gold eyes! This friendly gal is playful, and usually chooses a wand toy over all the others. She'll play for a while, but then she's ready to snuggle with you. She sometimes thinks a denim-clad leg is a scratching post, so give her a vertical scratching post to use! She would also like a window to look out of, cozy places to snooze, and lots of yummy treats.

Cheddar is looking for a human who will cuddle with her and accept all the biscuits she makes! She will purr and knead on you all day long, if possible. She would likely do best with adults and older kids.

Cheddar has been displeased with the presence of the resident dog in her foster home, though he's a nice doggy. We haven't seen her around other cats but think she might prefer to be your only cat so she would have you all to herself.

If you are looking for a loyal and loving kitty companion to dote on you, contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with Cheddar!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
