Affectionate, Devoted, Calm

Hello everyone. Meet Jane Butler! Especially... "When you're down and troubled. And you need some lovin' care. And nothin', nothin' is goin' right." *

You could call out for Jane. Because you know she understands. And you'll hear her "chirping" as she comes running to give you some peace.

That is right! This calm and friendly young adult wants your company as much as you want hers. As she runs to greet you she may let out a few "chirp" sounds to let you know she is there.

She is a small adult cat. But has a heart that will fill everyone in your household.

She loves to keep company with a human. Sitting on a human's lap is great. Then she gets to be petted and receive some neck scratches. In return she may stroke your face with her chin. One may also play with the cute tuffs of hair that stick up from her little ears.

She gets along well with other cats by mostly ignoring them. It is unknown if she has met a dog or child. Nothing much upsets her. So with slow, introductions with a dog or child, she most possibly would adapt well.

Jane Butler has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Jane Butler can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

She would do well in a family with a human who works from home, or spends a lot of time at home and really wants a cat to keep them company. Please remember that she may need to be the only cat in the house, or she may live with another cat that is also Feline Leukemia positive. There are more FeLV+ cats available at APA!

Come and see how great this pretty gal is, and let her serve you some comfort.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
