Adventurous, Loving, Spunky

Edgar *loves* human attention and is very gentle with you! If purrs could be measured in weight, he would purr a TON. He'll purr when you pet him, he'll purr when you don't, he'll purr when you hold him, he'll purr when you don't, he'll purr when you look at him...! He communicates with his purr rather than his meow, which is typically silent unless he's excited about incoming wet food, and then he can sound a bit like a very tiny velociraptor! (We imagine.)

Edgar has a reservoir of curious kitten energy and will play with anything and everything. He especially loves it when you pick up the feather wand and play with him! He also goes after toys that rattle. His favorite playmate, paws down, is his sister, Raven. Edgar is so active that he would do best adopted with her. She can totally keep up with him, though overall is more chill than Edgar, so they are a perfect balance - they are poetry together! Learn about Raven here - (https://bit.ly/3yYLDR8)

Edgar is a gentle, friendly, and happy guy who accepts pets EVERYWHERE, especially his back, sides, and super-soft belly. He can be wiggly when you hold him, and prefers to cuddle leaning on you or next to you, but not in your arms. Our theory is that he likes to be ready to pounce on a toy at any moment! We haven't seen him around children, but think he would be fine with gentle kids.

We think Edgar could get used to living with another friendly cat and even a nice dog; nothing much fazes this boy. He caught a glimpse of the resident cats and the dog in his foster home, and was kind of ho-hum about it; he hasn't had an opportunity to interact with them yet.

Edgar's ideal home would include people to play with him and give him lots of pets! And his sister, Raven, or another kitten or friendly and energetic cat to be his buddy.

Edgar is super sweet, gentle, fun, and brave! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
