Love-locomotive, Snuggle Queen, Purr-colator

Salty Pepper has got the purrs and she wants to share them! This beautiful girl is extremely affectionate and you will have no doubt how much she enjoys getting some loving. When you pet her, she purrs so hard her whole body vibrates!

Walk in the room and Salty Pepper will come running to you happily twittering away. Translation: "Pick me up! Pick me up!" When you hold her or put her over your shoulder, she sweetly snuggles under your chin and turns her diesel engine up to full r-u-m-b-b-b-b-b-le! She likes being held like a baby while you rub her belly and thinks curling up in your lap is heavenly. Is this precious lovebug for real? Absolutely!

Amazingly enough, Salty Pepper is able to function outside of her love zone. She enjoys gazing out the window as she lounges in bed and she will play when she's by herself. She may even bat a ball around with you. But, wait a minute...if you're there, that means pets, laps, cozy human. Play time is officially over! Bring on the love!

Salty Pepper has tolerated her roomie at the shelter. There was a little hissing initially, but nothing beyond that.

Salty Pepper is ready to find herself a forever family to love to the max! If your lap is feeling lucky, contact us to meet Salty Pepper!

Salty Pepper has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Salty Pepper can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Salty Pepper's care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
