Dark Shadows is ready be your shining, purry light! She is extremely friendly and loves to spend time with her humans. She is a big fan of chin scratches and will lean into them because they feel sooooo good! She is always up for head pets too or a cozy cuddle on the couch or bed. Affection is her favorite thing to share!

Dark Shadows will cheerfully follow you all over the house because being where you are is the best! She's your adoring, sweet shadow with gorgeous moonbeam eyes that stand out so beautifully against her sleek black coat. And, she has the cutest white spot under her delicate chin! We're not kidding when we tell you she likes being close to you; she loves to curl up in your lap or on your chest and take a nap. What could be more comfy than drifting off to sleep on your kindhearted person?

Being a curious girl, Dark Shadows likes to do some exploring, especially in the bathtub or in cabinets--endlessly fascinating! She has her playful moments too and absolutely loves her toy mice. She tosses them in the air, puffs her tail a bit and then does a victory lap around the house! But, she doesn't get all crazy about it, just a cat and her toy having a some fun. She doesn't really expect you to play with her and likes it best if you just throw her toy and let her take it from there!

Dark Shadows isn't very vocal. She likes to chat when you're getting her food ready or to say hello when you get home - two very momentous occasions in her day! Otherwise she keeps pretty quiet. When you're petting her or playing with her, she may express her gratitude with a friendly nip. She does it with the best of intentions and doesn't realize it's not the best way to show appreciation!

Dark Shadows is being treated for renal disease. She takes medication to keep her feeling fine and needs to have plenty of water to make sure she stays hydrated. She keeps telling us that yummy treats are part of her healthy regimen. How can we not believe that sweet, earnest face? So remember, Dark Shadows says to keep the treats coming!

Dark Shadows would be a delight in a home with someone looking for an affectionate, easygoing kitty to love on, fawn over and snuggle each day. Ready to make Dark Shadows your loving ray of sunshine? Contact us for an introduction!
