The key to Tootles' heart is a spring toy! He instantly turns into Bold Hunter when that spring toy is springing about, bounding after it with joy and exuberance.

Tootles will arrange himself in a lounging position wherever you are! He doesn't need to be held or to sit in your lap, but he will lay under the couch, bed, or any other piece of furniture. He likes to be where the action is, but a little tucked away.

Tootles and his sister, Wendy Darling (APA! ID 99751, https://bit.ly/3u7Tf2N) arrived at their foster home shy and uncertain about people. They have both made huge progress, with Tootles being more shy and Wendy being more outgoing. They help each other so much and are a perfectly balanced pair, so we would love for them to stay together and be adopted together. Please consider adopting them as a pair!

Tootles is good with the resident adult cat in his foster home, and frequently supervises when Wendy is playing with him, just to make sure nothing gets too out of hand!

Tootles' humans should be patient and gentle, giving him the time and space he needs to acclimate. He would like some hiding places during that time, but as you build trust with him, he will start roaming around the house, eventually claiming it as his domain! Getting him used to being held or petted will take longer, but he makes progress, just be gentle and this sweet boy will delight you. Having Wendy with him helps him a lot!
