Dandy is so well-named. She's such a dandy doggie to meet. She greets everyone with a big smile and many friendly kisses, and then she'll want to nuzzle and cuddle them.

Now in foster care, this gentle girl is getting along well with their 3-year-old Golden mix dog, and she's interacted very well with teenage kids she's met. And possibly for the first time, she's learning what it's like to play. She's having fun going outside to play ball, and she loves all toys. She also loves to see her foster come home from work and enjoys going for walks. She's a very strong girl who is leash walking very well in a harness and has learned not to pull.

Dandy is very food-motivated and is learning quickly. Her training is going well, and she understands "sit" and "stay." She's also a house-trained girl who does well both in her crate and free roaming the house. She sleeps in the crate at night and goes in and out during the day, doing well when her foster is away.

This very affectionate girl will love a home with a yard and snuggle buddy parents who are experienced with strong dogs and will take her out to play and go for walks. She is heartworm positive, but all that means is that she'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense. Come meet her. She'll promise to be your very loving and loyal companion!
Come meet your new best friend
