Lobo

What looks like a wolf but will make a fantastic family pet? It's Lobo! He is currently living in an APA foster home, where he is sharing his loving, playful nature with his foster parents.
Lobo loves both people and other dogs. He's an enthusiastic playmate for the other dogs in his foster home and is learning to read his housemates' body language. Lobo really loves to be around people, and he's not too demanding. He'd like to get in some cuddling and exercise with you and then will be happy to lounge around while you go about your business.
His foster family has loved helping Lobo learn the skills he'll need in his new home. He loves his crate - he will snooze the day away - so he does quite well when left alone in the home for a while. They are helping him learn his basic commands, and working on improving his leash skills.
Lobo could use a home where he can get plenty of attention and leadership. He's energetic but not wild, though his size might not make him a fit for a family with smaller children. But the more older kids and adults the better! He wouldn't mind sharing a home with another dog, but he's not as compatible with cats. Lobo is very active and outgoing. He would love to go on lots of adventures - hiking, and walks, and maybe he'll be up to try swimming. Then plenty of relaxing on the couch!
