Milky Way

Do you like hugs? So does Milky Way!! Milky Way is learning how to be a dog - and he's already found out that good dogs love their people and can hop up to them for hugs and snuggles. He's always excited to see his humans and loves to follow them, giving them kisses and hoping for their petting.

When Milky Way lived in foster, he lived with and did well with their big Shepherd dog and knew to respect and avoid their grumpy old Shih Tzu. He listens well and is learning leash skills.

He came to APA! with hydrocephalus, so can be a little clumsy on his walks. Milky Way processes the world a little bit differently than other dogs and needs repetition and plenty of treats to learn the basics. At home, he likes to sniff around outside and chew on parsley in the garden. Then he loves snoozing in his dog bed, sleeping nicely in his pen when his fosters are away. He's also working on his potty-training.

This happy, well-mannered boy will do well in a variety of homes. He will continue loving to have a guide dog buddy who can continue teaching him the ropes. Come meet him. He'll be so excited to see you!
