Mateo is a smart, active guy who just wants to be someone's best buddy. This 2 year old guy is large at 89lbs, and is neutered and heartworm negative! He is getting really stressed and paces in his kennel and barks quite a bit for attention. When out of his kennel and with a person, he is friendly and sociable, and enjoys going for walks, playing fetch with toys, and relaxing in the shade. Before coming to the shelter, Mateo lived with another dog and has done fairly well in play groups. He can be shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly after a sniff test... especially if treats are involved! Oh, and Mateo is a champ when it comes to puzzle toys!
