Khonshu: The ancient Egyptian God of the moon and now the zoom

Are you ready for a dog who's as playful as a puppy but as wise as an old soul? Well, look no further-meet Khonshu! This black-and-white ball of energy is equal parts goofy and lovable, and he's searching for a home where his zoomies and toy drop-offs will be appreciated.

Khonshu is a quick learner-treats are his secret motivation. He already knows sit, down, stay, roll, paw, and come-pretty impressive, right? He's basically a doggy genius. He also loves to show off his hidden talent, he will balance a toy between his paws while upside down, trying to chew it. He is only sometimes successful but always entertaining to watch.

He's crate-trained, house-trained and is so well-behaved when left alone. Seriously, he just quietly hangs out or naps like the well-mannered gentleman he is. No chewed shoes, no knocked-over trash cans, just a dog living his best life in a crate or lounging around, waiting for his next playtime!

Khonshu has a heart of gold. He's playful, loving, and just a little bit quirky. He's not the type to invade your space or demand constant attention, but when he's in the mood to play, he is like an enthusiastic toddler. His silliness is infectious, and we guarantee that no one will ever stop laughing at his antics.

Could Khonshu Be Your New Best Friend?

If you're looking for a fun, energetic, and ridiculously cute dog to keep you on your toes, Khonshu might just be your perfect match. He's got tons of love to give, fun energy and a knack for turning every day into a fun adventure. Come meet Khonshu today!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!
