Introducing Waverly, an adorable puppy, lab mix. Waverly lives in a foster home with her litter mates and enjoys playing with them. Waverly is young enough to adapt to a home with other dogs, kids, and cats.

Waverly is working on her potty training skills and understands pee pads, and will go to the back door first thing in the morning.

Waverly does fine in her playpen, and will sleep and play with her litter mates. Waverly starts her morning with a big drink of water and a leisurely turn around the yard, maybe a little wrestling with her sister. Waverly likes to sit back for some observation, a little people-and-action-watching. Waverly likes chewing on something while people watching. Then some snacks here and there throughout the day. More of the same at intervals throughout the day. Late afternoon is prime yard play with balls and toys and company. After a little more relaxing outside, Waverly will have a pretty big meal and be ready for a pre-bed cuddle. Generally at night she'll go to sleep for a little bit right after she eats, will wake up to go to the bathroom after 30-45 minutes, then will get some good sleep.

Waverly is a burrower! She found a way to hunker down under some blankets on the floor right next to the couch. She sleeps longer if she's snuggled in all the way and has started recruiting her littermates into their "fort". It's really sweet and you can tell she's her own sweet soul!

Waverly loves lots of cuddles and being in physical contact with her littermates or humans is her default position. Waverly would fit in well with most homes. Including homes with other dogs, kids and cats. Are you looking for a sweet snuggle bug to call your own? Come meet Waverly today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
