Schnitzel is a colorful and handsome man looking for his forever family. It's wonderful to see the amazing dog that he has grown up to be. The home he previously lived in was not the easiest for him, but nothing has been able to break his incredible spirit and hope for a loving forever home.
Schnitzel is completely potty-trained and also does well if left in his crate when his fosters are away. He is very extroverted and has done well with huge and small dogs. Schnitzel is always happy to make a new friend of any shape or size. This handsome and smart gentleman is so eager to please that he would be happy to learn basic and advanced commands as he settles into his new home. He is heartworm positive, but all that means is he will need a bit more rest during treatment, at APA's expense.
A perfect day for Schnitzel will include some playtime, followed by an evening walk and, of course, some belly rubs. When he is in a mellow mood this sweet boy is happy to cuddle beside you while you read a book or binge watch your favorite shows on TV.
