Ava

This precious girl is hoping to shower new owners with boundless love and energy! Ava has never met a dog or person she hasn't loved instantly! She hugs new people and wags her entire body when encountering another dog.

Ava is a playful, energetic puppy that wants to play all day and be near her family. She always wants to please her people. She responds to her name, and when being redirected, will lock eyes with them to acknowledge that she understands them.

In foster care, she quickly learned the routine of walking the neighborhood each morning. She has made fast friends with neighborhood pups. Once home, she knows it is backyard zoomy time with her foster sister pup before returning to the shaded deck for bird watching.

She is always up for an adventure and has the best car manners! She jumps in and quickly takes her seat. She is quickly learning that her crate is a soft, cool, peaceful place to rest. Ava sleeps in her crate at night and when her family is away. She is not fully potty-trained but is quickly learning. Ava loves the praise she receives when she makes it to the yard to do her business. She is very smart and simply wants to please her people.

Ava will love a home with an energetic dog buddy and parents who continue her training and enjoy hikes, runs around the neighborhood and games of keep away and fetch. She appears to love children she meets. She's overly excited by cats, so she will do best in a kitty-free home.
