Salty is a snuggle bug who hasn't met a human he doesn't love! Salty is such a sweet boy who has a calm, gentle personality even though he's still just a puppy. He's definitely a couch potato who is content being near you snuggled on a blanket, especially when he can rest his little head on your arm or lap.

Salty plays well with his foster's dog. They enjoy playing tug, zooming together and chewing on dog toys. He also likes to scoot on his belly across the grass which his fosters find hilarious. He also lives with cats and young kids and does well with all of them! He does not nip or bite at the kids, but instead likes to cover them with kisses. He easily moves along if they tell him to stop, though. He leaves the cats alone and does not go after them at all. He plays well with his doggie sister but sometimes needs a break and likes to come inside and take a nap.

Salty responds to his name and comes when called. He is still learning to be house-trained. He will potty outside, and his fosters are providing lots of positive reinforcement as he continues learning. He also stays in his crate at night and when his fosters are away.

Salty would do well in almost any home either as a solo dog or having a playmate. He is truly a gem and deserves a lucky family to spoil him the rest of his days. Come meet this lovable boy!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
