Introducing Monaco, a handsome, house-trained Shepherd mix. Monaco does not live with dogs in his foster home, but he socializes with neighborhood dogs while on walks. This means Monaco can live in a home with other dogs. Monaco also lives in a home with two children, ages 3 and 6. Monaco is affectionate with them and very energetic.

Monaco does fine on his own when left alone in a gated kitchen. This means you can go out and about running your errands knowing Monaco is safe inside your home!

Monaco loves his leash walks and takes two 30-minute daily walks around the neighborhood. He will make an excellent trail or hiking buddy!

Monaco is working on his obedience skills. He responds well to "sit," "down," and "no." Responds decently to "leave it." and is still working on "come." Monaco is so smart he should be learning advanced skills in no time!

Monaco is very affectionate. He loves human interaction and will seek it out. He does well with strangers and enjoys meeting new people!

Monaco's favorite activity is chasing after a thrown ball or frisbee. He also loves walks around the neighborhood and interacting with other dogs. He is also a nighttime snuggler.

Monaco will do well in a home with dog companion. He will fit well in most homes with parents who can take him on walks. Because he's energetic, he may do best with older children.

Are you looking for a young pup to grow into a great companion dog? Don't miss out on Monaco! Come meet Monaco today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
