Introducing Dale, a handsome, young, house-trained Retriever Labrador/Chinese Shar-Pei mix. Dale is fantastic with other dogs! He always wants to say hi to them. This means Dale can live in a home with other dogs!

Dale is working on his leash training skills and will need some training as he is always wanting to go up to say hi to other dogs and people he sees. Dale loves meeting new people. Dale loves everyone and everybody is his friend. His black tongue also catches the eye of everyone!

Dale loves to be cuddled! You can't get him away from you once you are home, but he does know boundaries when you tell him to leave you alone. Dale will make an excellent trail or hiking buddy! He loves to run and goes for two 2-mile runs a day. He also loves to play fetch.

Dale loves squeaky toys and his chewy bones are his safety blanket when it comes to occupying himself.

Dale will prefer pet parents who are around very often. He needs to be with active parents who can run with him at least twice a day along with a couple walks in between. Dale will get along with any pets and kids!

Do you have room in your heart and a place in your home for the sweet, active Dale? Come meet Dale today!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!

Come meet your new best friend
