Introducing Beethoven, a handsome, young Blue Heeler mix. Beethoven lives in foster with dogs and kids. He is curious about both of them. He is still uncertain and sometimes anxious about his new environment, but he is becoming acclimated to sharing his home with them.

Beethoven can also be wary of new people he meets but can be a real cuddle bug once he trusts you. He will love on you. He enjoys being petted, getting belly scratches, and sweet words. He will follow you and put his paw on you. He loves to be around his favorite humans and will find a napping spot nearby. He loves stuffed animals and comfy blankets.

Beethoven enjoys walks, naps with his toys, playing fetch with tennis balls and spending time with his family in the living room while watching TV, receiving treats and praise. On his walks, Beethoven likes to pull on the leash and often stops to smell the roses. He can become excited and want to take off.

It takes him a while to calm down and relax in his crate. He would prefer to free roam the house. When his crate is comfortable with toys, a blanket and a soft mat, he can adapt to it.

Beethoven is working on his obedience skills and already knows sit and stay. He is working on his house-training and is getting much better at going outside.

Beethoven's ideal home will be a calm, quiet one with patient parents and older kids who understand the needs of a super sweet boy. He will love a family who can dedicate time and love without leaving him alone for very long.

Do you have room in your heart and a place in your home for the sweet, handsome Beethoven? Come meet Beethoven today!
