Bones is a super sweet young boy who always makes his fosters smile and laugh. He likes being where they are and doing whatever they're doing, too. And he's also such a fan of other people. He loves everyone he meets and is very friendly and excited to greet them.

This playful, gentle boy likes going on walks with his fosters and their dog. Leash walking seems new to him. He's not quite sure how it works, but he's getting used to it and doesn't pull. He sees other dogs on neighborhood walks and mainly stays calm. At home, he may excitedly approach his foster's cat and kiss her, but he lets her be. They're sharing the house without issues.

At home, he likes being in the backyard, especially when his foster and their dog are with him. He likes playing with the dog. They chase each other, do some wrestling, and just chew on sticks together. He also has fun playing with the water hose, and biting water when it comes out. Then he's happy to go in for a good nap, especially on his foster's bed.

Bones is working on his training. He already understands 'sit' and is learning about 'lay down.' He does well in his crate when his fosters are away from home. He follows treats in and stays overnight, too. And he is house-trained, going to potty in the backyard.

This very respectful, loving boy will love a home with pet parents who are with him a lot and can continue his training. And he will enjoy a doggie playmate. Come meet this adorable boy!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!
