Introducing Sopapilla, an adorable young puppy and sweet baby bundle of joy! Sopapilla lives in a foster home with a Chihuahua and is playful with it. She is a bit hesitant around big dogs.

Sopapilla does well with children, although she might be a little too playful for children under the age of 5. But she is young enough to adapt to a home with dogs, kids and cats!

Sopapilla lies down in a closed room and does well while her fosters are away. This means you can go out running your errands knowing she is safe inside your home

Sopapilla is working on her house-training and is coming along nicely. She is working on her obedience skills and already understands sit and stop. So smart, she should be house- and obedience-trained in no time!

Sopapilla is very fond of interacting with people, wanting them to pet and play with her. She is very fond of playing with her fosters' children and lays down waiting for their pets when they get back from school. She craves human interaction and wants to lay down next to her fosters when they are working.

Sopapilla also loves to play fetch! She is very cute and affectionate. She loves to play and be chased around the house when playing ball.

Sopapilla loves running and playing. So, anyone interested in taking her for hikes or having a large backyard is a plus. She is still learning commands, but once trained she will fit very well with families with slightly older children or large sized pets.

Sopapilla is looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved. Are you the one for her? Come meet Sopapilla today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
