If you are looking for a furry friend who can be your great adventure buddy, come meet Dobby. He can be your cuddle bunny!

This active, affectionate boy's perfect day starts by getting pets, scratches and belly rubs. Then he likes going outdoors to do zoomies, play fetch and go off on to the greenbelt and playtime in the water. Back home, he may want to play a little more, but he's happy to lay down and nap under his foster's desk while she works. Later, he'll love to have a playdate with a doggie friend or take another nice walk.

Dobby is very friendly and almost immediately loves all people and dogs he meets. In the morning, he greets his foster mom with wiggles and leans in for pets and those belly rubs. He also has playdates with pups, and they have a great time together. He loves playing with all of them. He came to APA! with an injured hind leg and he may limp, but it doesn't hold him back. He's leash-walking pretty well, just occasionally pulling.

At home, he's learning to answer "sit" and is making good progress on his house-training. He sleeps in a laundry room overnight. When his foster is away for up to 7 hours, he settles down with his toys and chills out until she returns. And he is house-trained.

This happy boy will love a home with parents who can take him to parks and water splashes, and he'll enjoy a doggie playmate. Come meet Dobby. Offer him an adventure and he'll go home with you!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
