Roscoe

Introducing Roscoe, a handsome, young, affectionate dog! Roscoe is the biggest cuddle bug! He loves cuddling in the couch and has often napped with his foster. He is obviously the Big Spoon! He thinks he's a lap dog and will want to be as close to you as he can.

Roscoe may take some time warming up to new people but once he knows they are friendly he is good with them, especially when they give him treats!

Roscoe loves the water! Playing with a rope is his favorite; he will never get tired of that. And he loves playing with his friends, followed by long cuddly naps on the couch. Roscoe leash walks well 2-3 times a day with a gentle leader. He does very well with no pulling. He also loves car rides; if you need a road trip companion, he's your dude.

Roscoe is crate trained. He eats and sleeps there and does well while his foster is away from home. He also does well free roaming outside the crate. This means you can go out running your errands knowing he is safe inside your home.

He understands sit, stay and down, obeying on his walks when dogs or people are passing by. And he is house-trained.

While Roscoe has enjoyed dog friends in the past, due to a recent incident with another dog, he needs more time to warm up to new canine friends! Our staff can help with a meet and greet to make sure everyone is set up for success.
