Introducing Gypsy. She is a gem -- sweet, playful and loving. She is leash, kennel and house trained. This girl is also cat friendly! She is playful with kids of all ages and likes to hang out with other dogs once she realizes they are safe!

This poor girl was abandoned by her family when they moved and left her on the porch. Understandably, it takes a bit of time to earn her trust, but she warms up quickly especially with some yummy treats.

Gypsy will show you her tummy and ask for pets and affection. She loves a good tummy scratch. She loves to cuddle, but then likes to do her own thing and sit on the opposite end of the couch or on the carpet. Affectionate, but also like her space. She LOVES being on the bed and loves to sleep there.

Gypsy also LOVES to play and loves her rope toys. She is very good at fetch and enjoys playing in the yard. Gypsy should be in an active home with parents who aren't gone more than 6 hours at a time. Gypsy is a perfect angel in the crate. This means you can go out running your errands and she is safe inside her crate

Gypsy is working on leash walking! She pulls and loves to chase squirrels, but she is pretty good on walks about 3 times a day! She understands sit, lie down, come, stay. Gypsy is very smart, very food motivated and responds really well to training.

Gypsy is the sweetest thing. Not a mean or bad bone in her body. She can be nervous but never lashes out. She just needs someone to love and protect her forever! Could Gypsy be the one for you? Come meet Gypsy today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
