"I love to bring Nora home for sleepovers because she has endless joy when she sees her people and she loves to play. We enjoy games of tug, and walks on the trail in her stroller." - Laryssa, Volunteer

Nora is a one year-old pup that went through some trauma and had to have her front leg amputated. She is not doing well in the shelter and needs someone that can help her learn how to walk on one front leg! Her terrific volunteer friends are getting her set up with a prosthetic and physical therapy. Plus, our Clinic will help with getting her into future physical therapy sessions if needed!

Nora is ready to settle into a calm, cozy home and be showered with lots of love. This fun girl loves to play tug, play brain games with food, and stuffed toys are her favorite! She enjoys sitting in the laps of her besties, and her little kangaroo hops will bring you endless joy.

Nora is also a big fan of wrestling matches with her dog buddies, and taking relaxing breaks on the daybed. If you are into yard work, so is she! She just wants to hang out with you and soak up the rays.

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!
